Alva may or may not have a Common Good Fund. The Annual Accounts of Clackmannanshire Council for 2005-06 consolidate all Common Good Funds which have a total balance of £30,000.
My Commentary
Cochrane Hall cannot be the only Common Good asset in Alva. What about the park in which is stands? What about the Johnstone Park which, in 1862,
"was given over to the people of Alva by James Johnstone “for the holding of their annual gymnastic games”.
