Data supplied by Fife Council in 2005
Feuduties and Ground Annuals
St Stephen's Hall
Common Good Fund
It is not possible to determine whether Culross has a Common Good Fund since the Annual Accounts of Fife Council consolidate financial information from all 25 former burghs in one Statement and hence it is not possible to determine the precise balance of the Culross Common Good Fund
My Commentary
Culross is a well preserved Royal Burgh. Much property in the town is owned by the National trust for Scotland. As the plaque below indicates, the Town House was handed over to NTS by the last Town Council. Perhaps there is very little Common Good land in Culross - perhaps the last Town Council transferred most of it to the NTS.
Further research is required.
