In the unaudited 2006/07 Accounts of East Ayrshire Council, Cumnock Common Good Fund is reported as having a balance of £ 2708.
My Commentary
Cumnock clearly has Common Good assets as a quick look at the website of the Cumnock Living Memory Group reveals. it includes the Baird Institute (a bequest from John Baird) and the Town Hall (built upon a site gifted by the Marquess of Bute and built from funds raised by public subscription).
