In the unaudited Annual Accounts of Scottish Borders Council for 2006-07, there is no mention of a Melrose Common Good Fund though there should be since it owns the assets listed above.
My Commentary
Scottish Borders Council supplied drafts of maps showing property owned by Melrose Common Good Fund. These were detailed but only drafts. It is not known if final versions have been published.
It is odd that there is no Melrose Common Good Fund accounted for in the Accounts when the Council admit to assets.
