Stirling
Council

Stirling Council scores 0/10.
After having failed to respond to 2 letters enquiring about Common Good land in 2005, the Council, eventually reponded in early 2006 claiming to only hold Common Good assets in Stirling (and a pretty minimal list it was - see Stirling page)
The Council did admit that there was land elsewhere that was "common". This included, they said, the Museum Hall in Bridge of Allan but this is incorrect. The Museum Hall in Bridge of Allan and other such properties are Common Good properties and should be recorded as such in the records and Accounts of the Council.
Another story concerns the lack of any Common Good assets in Dunblane but the story I recount in the Annex to my Common Good - A Quick Guide dispels the notion that Dunblane and other such burghs have no common good assets.
